Principles

The principles of the ventilated curtain wall system are demonstrated below.

Water penetrating the “first line of defence” will evaporate. The draft within the ventilation gap will transport the moisture back to the exterior.

Summer heat will be blocked by the panel. The ventilation space will help to keep the building cool.

The density of the panel will reduce the amount of exterior noise entering the building.

Moisture from the interior will travel through the wall assembly. The draft within the ventilation space will help to transport the moisture away from the exterior wall.
